Account Manager

The Role: 

  • To work closely with the Head of Solution Sales and the Commercial Team to produce effective business development and account management strategies, identifying revenue opportunities and managing the customer and the internal Helastel teams to maximise those opportunities
  • Act as the primary business contact for key clients and is responsible for their satisfaction and ongoing revenue generation. A bridge between the client and Helastel, facilitating successful work and nurturing positive relationships externally and internally

You will be responsible for: 

  • Identify, research and evaluate attractive companies based on Helastel’s prospect criteria, growing opportunities within your territory
  • Outbound prospects, follow up on marketing qualified leads, contacting them through a mix of channels, nurturing strong relationships and driving engagement
  • Negotiate and close contracts to maximise profits
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for key client account management matters, nurturing long lasting relationships. 
  • Assist with challenging client requests and issuing escalations as needed
  • Support the Sales function in producing quality proposals in order to win new business and retain existing clients through the formal proposal, tendering and bidding processes.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • To produce and report back to the business on pipeline opportunities, revenue forecasts and customer satisfaction. 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly/quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

You’ll bring the following to our team: 

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Account Manager, preferably within the software/technology sector, with a proven track record of delivering against set targets. 
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce or HubSpot). 
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, communication, negotiation and presentation abilities


  • £30,000 – £40,000 + Commission
